$3 off Renpure Organics coupon @ Rite Aid

I just noticed as I was watching some of the Rite Aid Video Value coupons to get my Huggies coupon for tomorrow's sale, that they have a $3 off Renpure Organics coupon!  yay!  Click here to go to their site.

p.s. Don't forget to watch the video for your $5/$25 Rite Aid purchase, and if you watch 20, you can also earn a $4/$20 purchase coupon!

Cheap Tom's of Maine + $2.99 Huggies Pure & Natural at Rite Aid... Free Eos Lip Balm at Walgreens 10/3/10 - 10/9/10!

Sunday, 10/3/10 - 10/9/10:

Rite Aid will have Toms of Maine products (toothpaste, mouthwash, soap, deodorant) for $3.49 + there is a $1 Single Check Rebate + there will be a $1 coupon in most Sunday papers 10/3/10 = $1.49 after savings and rebate!  Or, you can see it as paying $2.49 out of pocket in the store, and get $1 back later.

Rite Aid will have Huggies Jumbo packs on sale for $7.99 (their Huggies sales normally include the Pure and Natural) + there is a printable $3.00 Huggies Pure and Natural on coupons.com + there is a $2.00 off Huggies coupon found on Rite Aid's Video Values website here (you watch a commercial to earn a coupon - there are also $5 off any $25 purchase coupons available there too!) = only $2.99 for the pack of diapers!

 Walgreens will have Organic EOS lip balm on sale for $3, and then you will receive one $3 Register Reward when you check out, that is good towards any future Walgreens purchase!  You can look at it as the lip balm being "free", or you can see it as getting a $3 good-as-cash coupon after you purchased your $3 lip balm.  Usually, you will only get one Register Reward no matter how many you purchase in one transaction, so don't buy more than one unless you want to... or, if your cashier is really nice and you don't have a line behind you, you can do multiple separate transactions - just don't clear out the shelves and leave some for me!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Bringing Basics Back tip:  Take advantage of Rite Aid's Single Check Rebates.  Many people I talk to find rebates to be annoying and not worth the stamp - BUT, these are not typical rebates!  They have a really easy online rebate system where all you have to do is enter in the date, register number and store number from the receipt and it does the rest for you - no mailing in a form!  You would enter in each receipt throughout the month that contains a qualifying purchase and then, at the end of the month, you claim your Single Check Rebate and all of your qualifying purchases get compiled into one big fat check you receive in the mail.  So, you might get a $15 (example amount) check if you made many different purchases during the month, or just the $1 if the Tom's is all you bought. Rite Aid's rebates are great because you can deposit the check in your bank acct. or spend it at Rite Aid like cash.  Go to Rite Aid's website here for more info.
Right On, Rite Aid! Had to make time for this mega FREEBIE post!
I went to Rite aid, and this is what I scored, all for FREE after using my clipped coupons and Rite Aid's total value off coupons ...after I get back my Single Check Rebate and $10 P&G gift card, which is like cash to me, since I go to RA so much!  I spent $30.46 worth of qualifying items (they count the value before coupons) to earn my $10 gift card where you must spend $30 of qualifying P&G brand items (including Gillette cartridges and shave gel, Oral-B and Metamucil).  Here is how I worked it:
Gillette Fusion Power Razor - $10.99
Gillette Fusion 4-ct refill Cartridges for razor - $14.99
Gillette Fusion shave gel - $4.99
2 Oral-B Advantage toothbrushes - $5.48
Metamucil 114 dose - $9.99
I broke it up into 2 transactions because I didn't go to "my" rite aid where they let me stack the RA "total value" coupons:
Transaction 1:
2 Oral-B advantage toothbrushes and Metamucil
- $0.75 off coupon on Oral-B Advantage Toothbrush
- BOGO coupon on Oral-B Advantage Toothbrush (- $2.74)
- $3 Metamucil coupon
- $3/$15 total purchase coupon from HERE
= $5.98 out of pocket
Transaction 2:
Gillette items
- Buy Cartridges, get razor free coupon (- $10.49)
- Rite Aid's promo: buy cartridges, get shave gel free (- $4.99)
- $1 off shave gel coupon
- $5/$25 total purchase coupon from HERE or HERE
= $8.99 out of pocket
BUT THEN, I'll get:
$5 SCR on the Metamucil
$1 SCR on Oral B toothbrush
$10 gift card
= ALL FREE (for $46.44 worth of product!), and in fact I "made" $1.03!
____________________________________________
TODAY, I'm going to do this and see if it works:
Cover girl is on sale BOGO + use my BOGO coupon
 +
John Frieda shampoos & conditioners on sale for 3/$15
- 3 of my $3/1 coupons from this last Sunday's paper (my paper + my mom's paper + my aunt's paper - they all give me their coupons!)
- $5 SCR when you buy 3 John Frieda shampoos/conditioners
+
John Frieda styling product: $5.99 - $8.99 (not sure which item I'll get)
- my $2/1 coupon from last Sunday's paper
- Up to $6.99 SCR on a shampoo or contidioner when you buy the styler (will be $5 SCR in my case since they are on sale for 3/$15 = $5 each)
- $3/$15 total purchase coupon from here and/or $5/$20 video values total purchase coupon (for watching 20 videos on RiteAid's website)
= ALL FREE and would be a $8 moneymaker if they allow me to use both total purchase coupons!
Right On, Rite Aid - Renpure Organics $3 coupon
If you go to Rite Aid's Video Values site HERE and watch the Renpure Organics commercial, you can print out a $3 off coupon for Renpure!  I love this shampoo and condidioner, and they don't use any harsh chemicals like phthalates, etc.  Watch out for the bottles that may still have a "Try Me Free" mail-in rebate hang-tag, or a $3 mail-in rebate hang tag on the bottle!
Plus, if you watch 20 video commercials, you can print out a $5/$20 total purchase coupon for Rite Aid!
p.s. you don't have to sit there and watch it the whole time - I like to do quick cleaning or toy pick-up and clip coupons, or organize bills, etc. at my desk while they are playing.  But, you have to keep your eye out because you have to enter in a code at the end.  The video will also stop if you try to open another browser window, which is lame, but oh how smart they are!
Right On, Rite Aid - Doubling up the Deals to Maximize Rewards!
There are several concurrent deals at Rite Aid right now where you can double-up on the rewards for shopping at RiteAid:
Single Check Rebates - earn a cash rebate (you can deposit into your bank account or spend at RiteAid) with purchase of certain items
Healthy Heart promo for a Rite Aid gift card - $10 RiteAid Gift Card w/$25 in qualifying purchases & $25 gc w/$50 in qualifying purchases
Olympic Grab the Gold promo for a Visa Rewards Card (like a pre-paid debit/gift card that can be used pretty much anywhere) - $5 Visa Rewards Card w/$25 in qualifying purchases, $15 Visa card w/$50 in qualifying purchases, or $35 Visa card w/$100 in qualifying purchases!
Oral Care promo for $5 Rite Aid Gift Card = purchase $15 in qualifying products
Rite Aid Video Values coupons - watch commercials HERE to earn a coupon!
Game of Life promo = with qualifying purchases, you get game tickets that you collect and match up for prizes + instant wins in some tickets + a coupon in every ticket!
Here are some of the products I found that double-dip! ("SCR" = Single Check Rebate, "HH" = Healthy Heart promo, "GG" = Olympic Grab the Gold promo, "OC" = Oral Care promo, "VV" = Video Values coupon is available right now, & GoL = Game of Life ticket)
Alli 90-ct Starter Pack, or 120ct Refills = $10 SCR + HH + $5 VV
Bayer Asperin 50-120ct = $2 VV + HH
Benefiber 48-62 dose, 60-100ct, 28-ct packets = $3 SCR + HH
Centrum Silver Ultra 100ct = $2 VV + HH
Crest Toothpaste, 6oz or larger = GG + OC
Colgate Total Advanced Whitening Toothpaste, 4oz = $2 SCR + HH
Duracell Rechargeable Pre-Charged Batteries AA/AAA 4-pack -or- Value Battery Charger = $3 SCR + GG
Gillette or Gillette Satin Care, Fusion, Mach3 shave gel = $1 SCR + GG + GoL
Gillette, -or- Secret Clinical Strength, -or- Old Spice Pro Strength Anti-Perspirant/Deodorant 1.6 - 1.7oz = $2 SCR + GG
Metamucil, 72-dose or 100-ct = HH + GG + GoL
Old Spice Pro Strength, -or- Gillette, -or- Secret Clinical Strength Anti-Perspirant/Deodorant 1.6 - 1.7oz = $2 SCR + GG
Oral B Advanced Floss Picks, 90ct = OC + GG
Oral B CrossAction Power Toothbrushes and/or Refill Heads 2-ct = purchase 4 for $10 SCR + GG
Pampers Jumbo Pack 31-36ct = $2 SCR + GG + GoL
Prilosec OTC 42ct = $6 SCR + GG + GoL
Prilosec OTC 28-ct = $5 SCR + GG + GoL
Secret Clinical Strength -or- Old Spice Pro Strength, -or- Gillette Anti-Perspirant/Deodorant 1.6 - 1.7oz = $2 SCR + GG + GoL on the Secret, not old spice or gillette deodorent
Sensodyne ProNamel Toothpaste 4oz = $1 SCR + OC
PLUS, many of the above have manufacturer coupons and possibly Rite-Aid in-ad coupons you can use to get the out-of-pocket price EVEN LOWER... BUT, the GG, OC and HH all say that the value towards the promo is AFTER coupons, so watch out for that.
ALSO, the HH says that it cannot be combined with any other offer - not sure what they mean by that, but in the past, with offers like this, you CAN combo them, but maybe they have changed the rule for that HH promo only? The other promos do NOT state that. You will be able to use the VV with the HH though since it's a coupon. Go HERE for more info on each promo above, and HERE for the VV promo.
Rite Aid $1.50 Tom's of Maine Toothpaste!
Valid through Saturday, 1/30/10, Tom's of Maine toothpaste (and deodorant too) is on sale for 2/$6, BUT, you can get them for 2/$3 = $1.50 each:
Buy 2 Tom's of Maine Maximum Strength Sensitive toothpaste
- use TWO of the $1/1 coupons for the above toothpaste from HERE
- $1/2 SCR (Single Check Rebate - RiteAid's online, digital rebate system is super easy to use!)
= 2/$3 after SCR!
Even BETTER than last week: Huggies Pure & Natural deal @ RiteAid!
Now, at RiteAid, they have a $3 Single Check Rebate (SCR) with the purchase of one pack of Huggies Jumbo diapers (last SCR cycle, it was a $1 SCR)! So, that's better than my post last week HERE with the Huggies deal! The other coupons from my previous post are still good, so, you could either head over there before the 31st to use the printable PDF coupon, or wait to see if the Huggies will go on sale in the next few weeks to score an even better deal!
- $2.50 off coupon from HERE for Huggies Pure & Natural (there are other Huggies coups too!)
- $5/$25 total RiteAid purchase from HERE (search for Rite Aid in the search box)
- $5/$25 total RiteAid purchase from HERE (it's a PDF)
- $5/$20 Video Values Reward coupon from watching 20 videos HERE!
- $1 off Huggies Video Values coupon from watching the Huggies video (January videos - they change the videos once a month, so if you want the coupon, watch the video now and print it out - no matter when you print it out, it will be valid until the end of Feb, so go ahead and print it out now!)
- $3 SCR (Rite Aid's rebate system - you can do it digitally online)
Most RiteAids will let you use 2 of the "total-purchase" coupons... and some Rite Aids will let you use ALL 3 coupons!
Right On, Rite Aid - my 65% off shopping trip 1/20/10
Here is what I scored yesterday at Rite Aid at a 65% savings by using coupons...
2 packs Huggies Pure & Natural diapers - $11.99 ea = $23.98
- Two of the $2.50 coupons from HERE
- $1 Video Values coupon from watching the Huggies video
- $1 SCR - Single Check Rebate (Rite Aid's digital rebate system)
1 10oz bottle Opti Free eye Solution - $9.49
- $3 in-ad RiteAid coupon
- my clipped $2 coupon from a past insert (there is also a $1 coupon HERE)
Total before coupons = $33.47
- All the coupons listed above
- $5/$20 coupon from watching 20 Video Value videos - sign up HERE
- $5/$25 coupon from HERE (it's a PDF)
= $12.47 out of pocket, and will be $11.47 after SCR on the Huggies!
So, after SCR, I got TWO packs of diapers and eye solution for LESS than the price of ONE pack of diapers!
Right On, Right Aid - Big savings potential starting Sunday!
Sunday 1/17/10, through the end of this month is a better time than any to shop at Rite Aid - here's why...
Total Purchase Coupons: 3 of them!
Click HERE to go to the $5/$25 RiteAid printable coupon (it's a PDF file)...
Go HERE to look for the $5/$25 coupon from Red Plum (if you don't see it, put "rite aid" in the search box at the top of their page - or, try using zip 97015)...
Then, watch 20 video commercials on Rite Aid's video Values site, HERE, and print your $5/$20 coupon!
The last time all 3 coupons were available like this, my RiteAid let me use ALL 3 coupons in one transaction! When I went to a different RiteAid, they only let me use the Video Values and then choose one of the other 2 to use. So, it depends on your RiteAid, but it is worth a try at yours to see if they'll let you use ALL 3, even if they only let you use 2, that's still $10 off your $25 purchase!
Game of Life
Don't forget the Game of Life promotion, where you can earn tokens for some of the purchases you make, and try to win prizes - plus, there are coupons within each token too! Click HERE for info about that promo.
Money-Back Promos
Plus, starting tomorrow, if you buy participating P&G products, you can earn a $5 Visa Reward card w/$25 purchase, $15 Visa card w/$50 in purchases, or a $35 reward with $100 in purchases! It is accumulative, so you don't have to buy it all at once - you have from 1/17/10 - 2/13/10 - so, save your receipts, or enter them into the digital Single Check Rebate system! It sounds like a lot to spend, but Pampers and Tide are on the list, among many others, so, you could stock up on few jumbo boxes of $19.99 Pampers and a large bottle of $9.99 Tide - that almost gets you to $100 right there! Not that I would buy these items just to get in on the deal, but if you were going to buy these items anyways, the better deal MIGHT be to go to RiteAid. Olay is also on the list, and you can double-dip on deals by also submitting for their $15 rebate HERE on 2 Olay Regenerist purchases - this ends the 24th! You need the original receipt for that, but luckily, if you sign up for RiteAid's Single Check Rebates, you can digitally submit for the Visa Reward card, and send the original to Olay! Look out for those products that also qualify for a Single Check Rebate, like the Oral-B items in rebates #77, #78, or #79... or, the Always pads or Tampax tampons in rebate #2. These brands ALSO have manufacturer coupons available to seek out!
Donating your FREEBIES!
When you spy a great deal on a product (maybe even a FREEBIE!) but it is something your family doesn't normally use, consider buying it anyways and donating it to a reputable non-profit organization!
I have been collecting a stockpile of free or nearly-free products I scored from RiteAid over the past couple months and I feel that right now is the time to finally make my trip over to a local non-profit to drop it off. I chose Medical Teams International to donate the sacks of items - they are a local organization for us, headquartered in in Beaverton, Oregon! They provide medical care and other aid to countries all over the world, and have sent doctors to Haiti already and are planning several more trips over there. Send good thoughts that they can get in in a timely fashion - the aid situation over there has been tricky just getting people in through the airport.
When something comes out to be free, or nearly free, it makes it SO much easier to donate when you are on a more strict budget. I feel like there is always someone out there who has less than I do, even in my most "poor" times. Here is a list of items I have scored for free or nearly free from RiteAid that are in the bags on my table, ready for my trip to Medical Teams International to donate them! Visit my subject, "Right On, Rite Aid" in my subject lists on the left column or click HERE to see how I scored most of these deals!
2 large bags Kotex Maxi Pads
Stayfree maxi Pads
Carefree liners
Tampax tampons
Always Thin Liners
3 tubes Crest toothpaste
1 tube Colgate toothpaste
Neutrogena Acne Face Wash
Scope Outlast mouthwash
Vaseline Sheer Infusion lotion
2 Pantene Shampoos 2-in-1
Herbal Essences Shampoo
Finesse Shampoo
Johnsons Baby Powder
Jumbo Box of Pampers Diapers
Oral B Cross-Action toothbrush
Degree deodorant
Renuzit air freshener
2 boxes Tylenol Extra Strength
Edge shave gel
2 cans Gilette shave gel
Biore Daily Cleaning Cloths
Schick disposable razors - large bag
PFEW! That is a lot of stuff - I didn't realize I had already stockpiled so much - I had intended on donating right before Christmas to a homeless shelter, but never made it over there... buy maybe God had other plans for my donation, for it to head over to Haiti?!!
Right On, Rite Aid - my Mom's shopping trip 1/12/10!
Yes, I've gotten my mom in on the coupon action now, and I think I've started an addiction - sorry Mom!
Here is what she scored, with a little help from me collecting the necessary coupons, and showing her the Video Values system (go HERE and click on the Video Values button and then sign up - watch commercials to earn coupons! Watch 20 to get a $5/$20 purchase coupon!) and the Single Check Rebate system (easy online rebate system, and when the rebate arrives in the mail, you can deposit it into your bank account like a check, or spend it directly at RiteAid - find it HERE)... she was also able to get the cashier to also scan all of the peelie coupons that were attached to the items, on top of clipped coupons she had! I didn't know you could do that, but I guess in most cases you can! All that savings I could be getting!
PLUS, sometimes when an item comes out to be FREE or nearly free but it's a product you don't normally use, think about donating it! RiteAid's deals make it easier to be able to donate on a strict budget! There are tons of non-profits that would love to receive more toiletries for those they are aiding. Even for the crisis in Haiti, items you can find at RiteAid for free or nearly free are of need there too!
Here is what my mom bought:
2 boxes Osteo Bi-Flex glucosomine vitamins - BOGO sale - $19.99 for one, one FREE
- two of my clipped $6 off coupons from past inserts, have also seen coupons HERE - there is a Flex-a-min coupon there for sure though!
- two $3 peelie coupons on the boxes
- $3 Video Values coupon
= $1.01 MONEYMAKER!
Draino Max 32oz - $3.49
- in-ad coupon $0.50 off
- clipped $0.55 coupon from a past insert
- Peelie $0.50 coupon on the bottle
=$1.94
2 Maybaline mascaras - Buy 1, Get 1 50% off - one $5.19, one $2.59 (50% off)
- $1 Video Values coupon
- two of my clipped $1 off coupons from past inserts
+ there is a $2 Single Check Rebate!
= $2.78 for BOTH mascaras
2 boxes Cheerios Multi-Grain $4.79 x 2 = 9.58
- $1/2 clipped coupon from past insert, or from HERE
- $1/2 Video Values coupon
= $7.58 for both (not really a great deal, but at the end it wont matter - you'll see...!)
Buttered Popcorn $1.50
(I had a coupon for this, but we didn't know she was going to buy it before she went, but it was on "sale" for $1.50)
1 Simply Asia noodle bowl $2.99
- $0.50 Video Values coupon
= $1.49
- $5/$20 total purchase coupon Video Values coupon (for watching 20 video commercials - you can do other things while "watching", but you have to enter a code at the end of each video, so watch out!)
- $5/$25 total purchase coupon from Red Plum online HERE (if you don't see it, try zip 97015 - it may no longer be on the system, but it was the other day when we printed it)
= ONLY $7.78 out of pocket
- $2 Single Check rebate on the mascara
= $5.78 for all of the above!!!
(it would have cost $45.33 without all of her coupons, and would have been $67.91 without RiteAid's BOGO and B1G1 50% off sales on the vitamins and mascara!)
Right On, Rite Aid! My FREE shopping trip 1/3/10
This is what I bought, and it also earned me 11 Game of Life tickets! I didn't win anything, but found that each ticket also contains a coupon inside for various products for my next shopping trip!
Here's what I came home with, all for FREE:
3 two-litre 7-up - in-ad coupon 3/$1.99
= $1.99
Wet 'n' Wild Natural Wear powder - 40% off = $2.99
- $2 SCR (SIngle Check Rebate from RiteAid)
= $0.99
Physician's Formula Organic eyeshadow - clearance 75% off
= $1.98 (this is a BIG score because usually this is $7.95!)
Physician's Formula Organic Loose Powder - clearance 75% off
= $3.48 (this is a BIG score because usually this is $13.95!)
2 Nivia Lip care chapsticks/gloss - BOGO @ $2.99
+ $5/$25 printable coupon from HERE (if you don't see it, try zip 97015)
+ $5/$20 printable coupon from "watching" 20 Video Values videos on RiteAid's site
+ my $10 RiteAid gift card I got from my previous shopping trip for buying a $50 i-tunes gift card. Thank you, RiteAid!
= All FREE for me + a little left on the gift card!
This trip would cost $6.20 without the gift card... still a great deal for less than the cost of one of the Physician's Formula Makeups buy themselves!!!
Sneaky Tip: Remember, that when RiteAid has a BOGO sale, that you CAN use your own BOGO coupon, making both items FREE. It states that right in their coupon policy. Or, you can use one coupon per item purchased. So, if you bought one item and one "free" item as part of their BOGO sale, you can still use 2 coupons - one for each item put into your bag!
Right On Rite Aid! My shopping trip: 12/28/09
Click HERE to go to my previous post that lists more deals available.
Sneaky Tip: Remember, that with RiteAid BOGO sales, you can use one coupon per item, so if you bought the 2 items, you can use 2 coupons even though one item is free as part of their sale... if you bought 4 items, you can use 4 coupons (even though after the BOGO 2 would be free) - so, in some cases, you can get both for free or pennies on the dollar!
This is what I bought:
2 Renpure Organics (shampoo & conditioner) - BOGO $6.99 ea.
- my $3 Video Values coupon (no longer available)
+ both items had a $3 mail-in rebate hang-tag
= $3.99 for BOTH - $6 in manufacturer mail-in rebates
= $2 moneymaker!
If Renpure wont honor both $3 rebates, they will definitely honor one so, at least I'd still be scoring both items for only $0.99 after manufacturer rebate!
1 Burts Bees Acne Solutions facial wash - $9.99
- $2 printable coupon from HERE
+ $2 SCR
= $5.99 after SCR
5 Soy Joy nutritional bars 5/$3 on sale
- $3 SCR on 5
- BOGO coupon I had from past insert (I'm bummed bc I KNOW I had a $2/10 coupon and I can't find it anywhere! Time to organize my coupons again I guess!)
= 5 FREE + $0.60 moneymaker!
1 Pure & Natural Hand Soap $4.69
- $2 Video Values coupon (no longer available)
- $1 coupon printable from HERE
= $1.69
1 Huggies Pure & Natural Diapers $11.99 (I may have jumped the gun buying them now - they'll probably go on sale later this month, but I had my $3 coupon + video values that both expire the 31st)
- $1 SCR
- $3 coupon from past insert
- $1 Video Values coupon (mine was from last month and expires the 31st, but there are new ones available this month!)
= $6.99 after SCR
- $0.50 coupon from past insert
- $2 off in-ad RiteAid coupon
= $3.99
1 Simlasan Dry Eye drops (all natural!) great to have in the medicine cabinet! - $9.99
- $2 SCR
= $3.99 after SCR
- $6 coupon from past insert
- ANOTHER $6 coupon from past insert
= got both for $7.99
2 Lil Critters gummy vitamins for kids - BOGO ($10.99 ea)
didn't have any coupons - boooooooo!
but got both for $10.99
1 Gillette Fusion Razor - $7.99 (my husband's favorite)
- $4 coupon from past insert from a few months back
- $2 SCR
= $1.99 after SCR, which is cheaper than what each individual refill cartridge would cost if I bought the refill pack! Now hubby can have one razor in the shower and one at the sink.
3 Renuzit Pearl air fresheners - BOGO ($3.49 ea)
Used my Buy 2, get 1 free coupon from past insert (expires the 31st)
So, I got 2 for free!
1 Tampax Pearl 40ct tampons (look for the boxes that are labeled with the $15 of P&G coupons inside!!!) $6.99 + 1 Tampax Pearl 20ct. box $5.29
- $2 scr on the 40ct
- Coupon from sunday 12/27 paper: Buy 1 34-40ct, get 1 18-20ct. FREE (would have been $5.29)
= got both for $4.99 after SCR + I got some coupons out of it too!
Buy a $50 i-Tunes gift card and get a $10 RiteAid gift card free - in-ad coupon!
so, I bought one as a birthday gift. = $40 after $10 gift card "free" money
- $20 Season of Giving RiteAid gift certificate I earned from past purchases
- $5/$20 Video Values coupon
- $5/$25 printable coupon from HERE (if you don't see it, try zip 97269)
= $30 off
If you feel like doing it, you could also split your transaction into two and use 2 more of the $5 off total purchase coupons, to save $10 more off your total! This also would be if your Rite Aid is not stingy. I didn't do that this time.
The lady checking me out today was usually a shelf-stocker, and she is an elderly lady, so was sort of slow anyways, but instead of just scanning my coupons, she looked in the bags for every single item before scanning the coupon and sometimes even after already scanning it - it was the most annoying experience EVER! I was too nice to tell her that she didn't have to do that and to just SCAN THE COUPONS, LADY! I guess that's what they used to do before the high-tech scanners, so she was bringing back the old school I guess... but, on top of her being slow and unnecessarily, yet unwittingly annoying, she didn't know the coupon policy and kept having the poor manager come over and "ok" a few of the things like using both the Video Values coupon and a Manufacturer's coupon. Of course each thing was ok, she just didn't know the rules... and I had the kids with me = even more hectic times at checkout. SIGH. I usually have a very pleasant experience at RiteAid.
Right On, Rite Aid - My shopping trip 12/15/09 - only $2.96 for 2 packs of diapers and more!
So, I went in for the Prell deal (buying 5 would be a $5 moneymaker after the $2 SCR on each, so it allows me to donate the shampoos to a shelter with nothing out of pocket!), but of course, they were all out since this deal was such a good one, I'm sure others went for the same score!  I got a rain check for 5 so that I can get them at the $0.99 price when I go back.  So, here is what I DID get...
Rite-Aid brand training pants $7.99
Huggies Naturals diapers $11.99
Band-Aid Sponge Bob character $1.99
Goldfish crackers (to appease the kids, and to get my limit to $25!) - $0.99
Chapstick Fresh Effects $2.99
Total = $25.95
- $3 clipped coupon for Huggies Naturals
- $1 Rite Aid Video Values rewards coupon (for watching a Huggies ad on RiteAid's website)
- $1 in-ad RiteAid coupon for band aids
- $5/$25 coupon from HERE
- $5/$25 coupon from Red Plum (use zip 97015 if you don't see it)
- $5/$20 Video Value Rewards coupon (for watching 20 video ads on their site HERE)
= $5.95 TOTAL OUT OF POCKET at checkstand
- $2.99 SCR (RiteAid's Single Check Rebate) for the ChapStick
Yes, you can use all 3 $5 off coupons in one transaction!!!
See my previous post HERE for some more deals you can take advantage of but I just didn't because I had the kids with me and needed to get in and out fast!
Here is what I scored today (12/10/09)...   click HERE to go to my previous blog post that has more savings scenarios that I didn't take advantage of - there are a lot more deals to be had!
2 pop-up handband tape dispensers - on sale for 2/$4.28
- 2 $1 off coupons from HERE (= $2 total coupon savings)
= $2.28 out of pocket
- $3.29 SCR
= FREE + Moneymaker after I get my SCR!
2 kids Arm & Hammer Spin Brush toothbrushes - BOGO sale - $6.99 ea. (= $13.98 reg price for 2)
- 2 $2 off coupons from HERE and click on the button on the top to go to the SpinBrush area (it only lets you print one but if you go back using a different browser, like use Firefox and then Internet Explorer, you can print a 2nd one, or use a different computer to print the 2nd one) (= $4 total coupon savings)
- $6.99 BOGO sale
= got TWO for $2.99
Opti Free Express eye solution - 2pk $16.99
- $4 off any 2-pack coupon from a past insert (not sure how old it was, possibly the 11/1)
- $3 in-ad coupon from their ad
= $9.99 for the 2-pack (which is the usual price of a single pack!)
2 large bags of Christmas M&Ms - got the Dark Chocolate version, yum! - BOGO sale $3.99 ea. (= $7.98 reg price for 2)
- $1 off two coupon from the 12/6 Red Plum insert (I think that's where it was from!)
- $3.99 BOGO sale
Then, I used a $5 off $25 total purchase coupon from HERE, and a $5 off $20 Video Values coupon (for watching 20 videos on their site - I usually clip other coupons while the videos run, but watch out because you have to enter a code after each video) - they let you use BOTH!
- your B2G1 coupon on Secret from 11/1
- use 2 of your $0.50 off 1 coupon from 11/1
= $0.33 each
(Sneaky tip: you can use one coupon per item purchased even if it's a BOGO coupon, so you would get one item free, and the other two items each get a $0.50 off in this scenario - it is usually easier if you have them scan the $0.50 off coupons FIRST, and then the BOGO coupon later on in your coupon pile because sometimes you get a stingy checkout person, or sometimes the register will beep to say you can't do that coupon if the bogo coupon is scanned before the $ off coupon)
