FREE patterns - Amy Butler, Burda & more!

These ideas would make some great frugal Christmas gifts with the patterns being free, plus if you found fabrics with cute patterns on sale = frugal, yet meaningful!  The Burda shopping bag below only takes 3/4 of a yard, and you can find some great cotton fabric (such as for quilting) with cute patterns for less than $3/yard!

Here are some cute, downloadable patterns by Amy Butler (she has some super cute fabric too!). I really like the nialla quilt and the really cute portfolio case (pictured above), so go on over HERE and check out Amy's free patterns and instructions! Plus, Fabric.com sells Amy Butler fabrics - click HERE to go to their site, they are having 12 days of savings where there is a different deal every day through the 12th! AND, they have FREE shipping on $35+ orders - I love not leaving the house when it's cold out like today!

Here are some MORE free patterns, on Burda's website! Some of them cost money, but there are a lot of free ones on there! This reusable shopping bag pattern would be really easy for a beginner sewer (or an experienced one who wants a quick project with little effort!)! They have patterns from novice to experienced - HERE.

THIS website, Savvy Seams, has some cute FREE patterns too - they won't be adding any new content, but are leaving the site up for you to access their free stash of patterns! I love this reusable lunch bag!

HERE is a link with 20 great tips to improve your sewing - Threads Magazine

Fabric.com has some free downloadable patterns, and they sell the fabric, notions, etc. that you may need for the project all in one place!

Plus, check out my blog posts HERE and HERE for some free, downloadable Christmas craft books, and my tab, Homemade for more ideas!
